Money, and the Law of Attraction
There is inner work involved in the process of learning-more-about-money. Smart money management is about ensuring that you are working for your own best interests, for what you want in your life. It requires self-management of your thoughts and emotions.
Money, and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health, and Happiness, Esther and Jerry Hicks’ new book, will guide you in deciding who you are now and how to create what you want in your life.
… because such a high percentage of your thoughts in any given day reside around the topic of money or financial success, as soon as you are able to deliberately guide your thoughts, not only is it certain that your financial success must improve, but the evidence of that success will then prepare you for deliberate improvement in every aspect of your life experience.
Are you thinking it sounds good, but it’s not real for you? Have you lived in doubt or fear for so long that you are unsure how to live differently?
The Hicks’ have major news for you:
What is wrong is within you — and you do have control. And taking control is not difficult to do once you understand the basis of who-you-are and the basics of the Law of Attraction and the value of your Emotional Guidance System that you were born with, which is always active, ever present, and easy to understand.
You decrease fear, doubt and resistance by doing the inside work. You reduce doubt by learning to think in new ways that yield new thoughts and vibrations. You begin to tell yourself a new story with positive dialogue about what you want in your future. You no longer repeat the old stories that no longer apply to the you that you are now. You reduce your barriers to having more than enough money when you talk, think and visualize the new story of what you want in your life now and in the future.
Do you wonder if you can do it? I sometimes do. Every new income level or business goal I aspire to requires self-pep talks and reaffirming of my beliefs. I breathe deeply, recharge, and realize … Yes, I Can! You can too.
Change Your Story
Kick to the curb the old stories you’ve repeated for years. That old story that brought you only pain can now be retired. You can let it go. Give it no more power over you. As the Hicks suggest, change your story. Script a new story based on an abundant mindset.
Think about what you want. What do you see for yourself? A life of thriving, with more than enough? Ease and comfort? Let what you want become your focus. See it. How far can you take the vision? The more you practice adding pieces to your new story, the more likely you are to create a new chapter in the non-fiction story of your life.
You cannot talk consistently of the things you do want to experience in your life without the Universe delivering the essence of them to you.
What You See Is What You Get
What have you decided to see? What do you smell? Is the air fresher when you walk and meditate? I want a new car. Lately I’ve smelled new car leather. What a fabulous concept — to think and attract it. Amazingly, it works.
Get you off the couch and step into living your life. This is the inner work of smart money management. As you think in alignment with what you want, with abundance, with having more than just enough money, you attract it to you.
Physical fitness and emotional health. Financial fitness. They fit together. Say Yes to financial fitness!
Homework!
Read Money, and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Wealth, Health, and Happiness by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Begin with the Preface. You’ll be glad you did.
I’m looking forward to reading your comments as you get into this book. Share your thoughts here.

I found the Process of Pivoting the most illuminating and powerful idea I've heard in a long time. It's introduced on page 16 of the paperback. This concept opened up a new way for me to think about what I want and do not want in my life. How did it strike you?

Hi Judith,
Remember me? We've met on the virtual community WIM (NING) , Diane Corriette had online last year. Great post.! I would like to ask you something. Do you know the "Universal laws of nature" Wallace D. Wattles is referring to when he speaks about "In a certain way" in his classic book "The Science of Getting Rich?" Could you Create a post around this?

I too love the idea of pivoting. I have had back pain the last couple of days and have been working hard on focusing on having a healthy strong back instead of thinking about the pain.

Hi, Judith! So glad to have found your blog through the AMTC group! This idea you have here about changing your stories…that is a super one! So many people tell these horrid tales (that come true) about their money. I hear people say, "I'll never make much money." And surprise…they don't!
Keep up the good work!

Hi Deana,
Yes, I remember you! And I apologize for the delay in responding to your post. My bad. I have excuses, but I won't bore you with them.
It's been a decade or more since I read The Science of Getting Rich. It would require more work than I have time for just now to do a post around it justice. However, I found an alternative that I think you will enjoy.
There is an Blog Talk Radio show that covered this topic. Here's the info.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world that thinks this law of attraction stuff is just new age hippy feel goodierry stuff. It is just some market ploy telling people that if you just think about it, the universe will "conspire" to bring it too you. It may sound nice and cheerful, oh and easy, but action is the only thing that counts.

This was very informative. Thanks for sharing.

Anything we can do to move from a focus on money to a consciousness about worth and value will be worth its weight in Gold right now! I hope you will be a leader in this movement. If you are in the money business it may prove valuable to watch and share the "Crash Course" by Chris Martenson. It can be viewed for Free on the internet, just google it. I wish you the most success in this pivotal time.

attitude always plays a part in the outcome, no matter what your doing

it sounds very nice and cheerful, but i don't think the universe conspiring to bring you success has anything to do with it. you have to act successful to BE successful, and like the good Dr says, don't dream it be it.

i am a huge believer in the law of attraction and am always looking for new info on the topic.
it took me to find the LOA before i actually found my self and started being who i wanted to be. i changed my story in a way that when i was out of work and people would ask me what i was doing now, through being ashamed of being out of work i started tellin people that i worked in the job i wanted even tho i didnt . after a while i started to believe i actuall did do it and felt good about it. long story short now i have that job and i put it all down to the law!
